Accounting
KAERUS manages day-to-day accounting records and entries, customer and supplier account reconciliation, bank reconciliations and fixed asset monitoring.
Each month or quarter, we review the trial balance, analyse significant movements and record year-end and period-end adjustments, including accrued expenses and income, prepaid expenses and deferred income, provisions, payroll and social security charges, and inventory adjustments.
We also maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules. At year-end, we prepare the annual financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement and notes, together with a fully documented working file.
Our review highlights the key issues, their financial impact and the priority actions required to secure the following reporting period.
Tax
We secure your tax environment and anticipate upcoming filing and payment obligations.
For VAT, we determine the most appropriate regime for your business, whether the normal or simplified regime, clarify the applicable tax point rules and manage reverse-charge mechanisms where required.
Intra-EU transactions and e-commerce flows are also covered, with structured reconciliations and consistency checks.
For corporate income tax, we calculate instalments and the final balance, prepare the French Form 2065 tax return package at year-end and monitor any applicable tax credits. Other taxes and contributions are handled according to your business activity and geographical presence.
Where appropriate, we may recommend a Tax Compliance Review (Examen de Conformité Fiscale) to reduce tax risks and strengthen the company’s position with the French tax authorities.

Our approach
Every engagement begins with an in-depth initial review.
We analyse the accounting history, structure the chart of accounts and clarify posting rules to ensure the consistency and reliability of all accounting entries.
A realistic compliance and reporting calendar is then established to provide a clear and sustainable framework for the engagement.
Our reporting is not limited to sending files. It is a structured discussion focused on key areas requiring attention and the decisions to be made, supported by a dated action plan with clearly identified responsibilities.
Our tools
Information and documents are collected entirely digitally through a secure portal, ensuring confidentiality, full document traceability and straightforward access for your teams.
Approvals and formal engagements are then completed using electronic signatures within a compliant and secure framework.
During the production process, we rely on structured checklists and formalised procedures, combined with systematic second-level reviews.
At the end of each reporting period, an in-depth analytical review is carried out to explain significant variances and key movements.
