than what a company has already achieved. To understand its financial position, assess a risk or evaluate the consequences of a decision, they may be involved in the business leader\u2019s thinking at a very early stage.<br><br><strong><em>A possible acquisition, a reorganisation of the ownership structure, remuneration arrangements still under consideration, cash flow pressures, a shareholder\u2019s contemplated departure or preparations for a business transfer may all be discussed with them before any final decision is made.<\/em><\/strong><br><br>A lawyer may advise on the legal structuring of the same transaction, while a notary may be consulted where wealth, property or inheritance matters are involved.<br><br>These professionals therefore have access to more than the consequences of a decision. Information can now move to a different recipient, format or context within seconds, even though it remains just as sensitive.<br><br>This fluidity has become essential to managing complex transactions. Yet it places a new demand on business leaders : to maintain control not only over the content of the information, but also over the route it takes.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"quand-la-confidentialite-devient-un-sujet-de-gouvernance\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Does everyone involved need the same document in its entirety?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Should an email thread be forwarded when a single attachment is sufficient?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Should a negotiating assumption that is still being explored be added immediately to a shared workspace?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-3d77a96\" id=\"quand-la-confidentialite-devient-un-sujet-de-gouvernance\" data-block-id=\"3d77a96\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">These decisions might seem purely operational.
